I added a link in the main menu but i can only get it to go at the top or bottom

i added a link in my main menu and i want it to go in a place other than the top or bottom! Any ideas? The other thing is that i only want registured users to be able to see this link any help would be nice!

have you unchecked the box for it in the anoynmas groups access rights?

I have beacuse the site is under a complete rebuild. i did it by cloneing my default template and then edditing the html in the blocks
