Hi,

Is there a database module for Xoops? That let you select the fields you want to have and everything else related to it. I want to use something like that for my site that which games would run on an emulator and what known problems there are and so on.

Kindly regards,
Patrick

Not sure I understand the question correctly, but there is a PHPMyAdmin module, which lets you administer a database through XOOPS.

Hi,

Well I just need to be able to create fields. Like:

Game name:

Emulation version:

Problems:
Etc.

So that people can see if a certain game works with the emulator and which problems there are. Maybe some cheats. And so on. I hope this makes it a bit clear. Don't worry, according to my girlfriend I am difficult to understand.

Creating the fields is very easy - but I guess you'll need some page/module to display them

I'd suggest you look at WFSections - maybe check how Linux-gamers.net are using it and see if it is something for you.

Otherwise start begging and someone may make a module for you (I personally don't have time, sorry)

Hi MithyT2,

I think I will have a go with wfsections.
