bb related...installed the forum module ,set up a few forums which u can see...but when u go to post it gives u a blank page and nothing else...any ideas?

i get this error when i click the new post button when debug is enabled

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare xoopscodetarea() (previously declared in /homepages/8/d67174429/htdocs/msg/html/include/xoopscodes.php:36) in /homepages/8/d67174429/htdocs/msg/html/include/xoopscodes.php on line 36

Similar errors are known to happen with some non-standard modules or sometimes when XOOPS 1 modules are run under XOOPS 2. Which version of XOOPS are you using and do you have any non-standard (i.e. one that didn't come with XOOPS distribution) modules?

I had a couple of non standard modules...deleted them....forum works...Thanx for ur help

I think the problem can be solved (in reference to the ShoutBox module) by changing this line in the file html/modules/newbb/include/forumform.inc.php:

include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/include/xoopscodes.php";

in:

include_once XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/include/xoopscodes.php";

This isn't actually a bug, but the change has been committed on CVS just now.
