Yes, I'm sure I could figure that code out for myself, but would you mind posting what your solution is to spawning a new window, etc? My users won't really use it I'm afraid unless it lives in it's own little window. I'd appreciate it.

I didn't make the chat popup in a little window. I made the chat module link popup a whole window that included the chat. I simply put a link in header bar (my forums don't have the regular XOOPS menu on the left) and used a target="_blank" option.

This is a hot topic at tufat and last I checked there wasn't a solution from a CMS. I'm sure there is an easy way but I haven't looked at one. Opening a new screen is easy enough though.
