Yeah ok I installed it, but now I have problems with apache in wamp server.

I installed Windows 8 Pro 64bit and I can not start the server.

Strange, but true, I was able to install both version that the 32bit and the 64bit of WampServer, and no errors.

Verified working properly now.

I will try to remove all xoops dependencies in the new install script I am developing.
(Been busy with family stuff and other non computer related stuff I wasn't expecting.)

- language "There is no modules installed actually" should be changed to currently
- missing language def for ext/mod pref image button : _OXYGEN_SITEPREF

but there is still no style..just white background

is there any module using the new API which i can use it as start reference for developing modules for 2.6?

Look at the Page module in the XOOPS 2.6.0 download - it should use the latest API.

Make sure, you check out the latest version XOOPS 2.6.0 from our SVN, and update it frequently.

-_- tried updating my alpha 1 from svn and got this error
( ! ) Fatal error: Class 'Xoops_Cache' not found in C:wampwww2.6classpreload.php on line 88
