Because you are doing a new Website, so basically you are installing and testing how it works. So there should be no problem.

By the time you're done with testing, the Final version should be released and you're ready to go.

mv /usr/local/www/apache22/data/html/xoops_lib /usr/local/www/apache22/data/protected/
mv: /usr/local/www/apache22/data/html/xoops_lib: No such file or directory
and it is there

The best way to install is to follow the directions from the XOOPS Installation Guide

If you follow them, then you should be OK.

If you have problems, email me your info (Website details, incl. FTP passwords), and I'll take a look into it.

WARNING: Folder /usr/local/www/apache22/data/protected/xoops_lib is inside DocumentRoot!
For security considerations it is highly suggested to move it out of DocumentRoot.

You can ignore these warnings for the time being. Just test and make sure that everything else works OK.

You can later move the folders out of the Document Root, as described in the Installation Guide.

new User Registered it is not making new User Registered is not working is is not sending emaill or add than to the Manage Xoops users
i have to add new User Registered

I am not sure, I understand. What do you mean by "User Registered date"? What is the issue?

You have to setup up your email according to your server. You do that in Admin Preferences for Mail Setup.

Please take a look at the XOOPS Operations Guide on page 63

Otherwise sent me an email with your access paswords, and I'll take a look at that.

It looks like his document root is /data/
And XOOPS root ishttp://his_website/roofstar/html/

This would mean that the folder named protected would then need to be in /apache22/protected/, not like I said earlier (/data/protected/)

So move xoops_lib and xoops_dat directories from /data/protected/ and place into
/apache22/protected/ and rerun the install to see if the errors go away.

It is too early to be registering users. You will be unable to register users if your installation is still showing errors. Continue installation until you get no errors, and accept Mambas offer if you need to. Once installed correctly you can then register new users.
