Headlines works OK, but i have problem with one character... č it's displayed as ?... Only one :)

In respect to the poster's original problem, can someone already using CBB confirm that RSS works in the currently downloadable version, or is a fix needed?

I checked and the only difference is:

$compile_id = md5(implode(",",$valid_forums));

instead of:

$compile_id = implode(",",$valid_forums);

The main question is if he has enabled overall RSS is his Preferences?

BTW - we're using XOOPS 2.5.5 Beta on our Website.

How are RSS feeds published via Xoops?

We enable the overall RSS in the NewBB preferences. Then we enable individual forums.

I tested on another site with CBB/NewBB 3.08 and it works over there fine.

Did you enable RSS in the CBB/NewBB Preferences?

Been trying out a few RSS readers on my Android phone. GReader seems to have a problem with updating the XO forum feed, but RSSDemon works really well.

It would be nice however if the 'RSS Max Description Length' value here on XO was increased to a thousand characters or so to make it easier to understand the posts.

As said before, RSS is a great way to keep up to date with the XO forum on your phone. If you check out some of the default feeds in RSSDemon you can see how good it can look.

Actually.... your post today about module re-naming had 2037 characters. If you can up the limit to 2000+ chars it would cover most 'normal' posts I think. Allowing 4,000 chars should even cover rants!
