This is weird. I have banned users IP in Xoops administation. But they can still sign up! I suspect a bug in the Xoops registration process.

Anyway, I'm banning their ip's in .htaccess now instead. So no problem.
I love Xoops!

I use Xoops 2.5.0. I tried to ban my own IP and I got a blank page. So the banning works. It's just that spammers somehow can still get past it.
I love Xoops!

They might use a different IP, but pretend that they are coming from another trying to fool the Protector. Check your Apache log to make sure.
