100MB would take a very long time to fill up. Most average sites would take several years to come anywhere near that amount of data.
For the number of people you are talking about, and the amount of posting you do, you would have nothing to worry about with a 100MB limit.
Just to give you a benchmark... With all the data I have compiled on
http://mywebresource.com I'm only using 2MB of DB storage space.
