There's always the ftp command that's already built into Windows, and available from a commmand prompt window. I think it's available in all Windows versions.

Of course you have to be comfortable with using MS-DOS commands, but it's handy if you don't happen to have an FTP client installed.

I was wondering that actually. But I couldn't remember. The very first time I used FTP (when i was 15!) was by command prompt. I can't remember what I used though.

For a back up plan, what would I use in FTPing the old fashion way? I'm assuming the 'chmod' command would be available to use via this method?
