Bassman, good on you! Maybe someone on the devs site can assist? In case you are thinking, this guestmap is a bit thin on features take a look at the bravenet version herehttp://www.bravenet.com/webtools/guestmap/index.php It's a funny thing... Ive had more favourable comments about this guestmap than any other module!

Guess it's rather cute and people like a simple quick graphical GUI.

Richard,
Nice job! Can you tell me how you got it into the centre like that? With an i-frame? I tried it with my semi-modularised version, and it seems to pull all the site including the left blocks into the i-frame.

Sorry for the delay ... There's nothing special about my iframe.
Quote:
<iframe SRC='http://houseofstrauss.co.uk/globetrotter/globetrotter.php' name='zone1' width='100%' height='475' marginwidth='0' marginheight='0' hspace='0' vspace='0' frameborder='0'>
</iframe>

I do use a page wrap module however rather than put the iframe directly in a custom block. That way I easily get a menu item without hacking the main menu. It's a variation on the 'contenu' module and jackj's "mypage" module.

I'm seeing some flaws in this guestmap module now ... when icons are grouped very closely and overlapping, its hard to find them and read the messages. That's where the zoom function and spread function of bravenets version is so much better. We need to learn from this and build these functions in.

Just an update, if anyone is interested.

I managed to get the Globetrotter script working perfectly at home, as a fully incorporated XOOPS module (creates its own tables in the XOOPS database, doesn't require the Globetrotter install script) but there's still a few issues I have to fix before it's available for public beta testing. I'm going to ask around at the Module Dev site to se if I can get these issues sorted out.

OK, it's up and running on my site www.bassmanthemes.x8r.com if anyone wants to take a look.

I'll make the Beta module available for download later today. It still has a few issues, such as not all tables being dropped when the module is uninstalled, but it seems to function just fine!

Cool, but using Mozilla 1.7 I can only read my own comment: Resized Image
IE6 works as intended.
