hey bd_csmc,

what if each module has its own blocks open with the module?

so say if you open with news, then all the news blocks open with mod to the right or left.

well, for some of the blocks, that would kinda ruin the point, or duplicate information

i generally try to use the blocks to get users to goto the corresponding module, generating interest in other areas of the site. of course, that can be handled in XOOPS admin (assigning blocks to certain modules)

played around with some ideas and come up with this:

the block div height can be edited to make it scrollable or not.

edit: not tested with xoops(yet).

that was a quick response! anyway, at this point opera does not like the scrolling, not sure whars up with that.

anyways, possibly opera isn't fully css compliant? i'll bet if you report the issue to their dev team, they'll look into the issue asap. as it turns out, awhile back some users had complained to opera abouthttp://www.unitedadmins.org (i think that's the link), saying it didn't display properly in their browser. the opera crew researched the problem, and when they found it was an error due to some outdated code used on the site, they contacted the site admins, requesting that they update their code, and told them how.

lol. so at least they listen to the little people

ie6 is the only browser that does what is intented for the scrolling part.

hmm... must be an error in the code then, and IE is likely repairing the bad output when it displays (wouldn't be the first time)

have you checked the code in Dreamweaver, to see what it suggests?
