I'm a fairly new web designer working with an linux bases apachie server, with tons of Database room and storage. This is going to be my first XOOPS website, and after searching over a ton of CMS's I think this is the best choice for what I'm needing to do. What I would like is some suggestions on which Modules would work best to get the end result I'm wanting. Here is what I'm needing **A Subsciption bases mambership (with paypal support) Need to be able to have different levels of memberships. Ie Free, Normal and Premium **A community set up, where members have profiles, avatars, and can send Private Messages **Members can also post there own images (in a gallery setting) and Stories, Prefer to be able to be able to have a comments section **Need to be able to place in static html pages **A user Forum **Hosted Gallery **User Group Permission levels **Age verification on member registeration **Ad Banners that can become invisible for certain user groups I know some of these are covered in the XOOPS core, but Im just wondering what other modules would work best. Thanks for any suggestions you may haveQuote:

Hi there

Please be more precise about subscription. Do you want automatic solution or when you see payment you manually add user to a group?

For community setup - no probz. Default modules could do that: User profile and PM.

For user pages, images and comments, you could use UserPage module, for user galleries ExtGallery.

Static html pages - any module with wysiwyg editor or WAKU module.

Forum CBB 3.08 or SMF via bridge.

Hosted Gallery? Please be more precise, coz any gallery should do that.

User group permission levels - in core.

Age verification - I never bother it (I didn't ran porn site on XOOPS )

Banners on/off you could do with blocks and user permisions, etc..

Hope that's all :)

subscription module can do that. it works on the basis of XOOPS groups so you shouldn't have any problems with free and premium levels. the module itself is free, but the payment gateways are paid. they have Paypal Payment Gateway, Verisign Payflow Payment Gateway, and CCBill Payment Gateway. the paypal gateway will cost you only $ 8.95. i work with this module and i am very satisfied.

That does help out a lot thank you.

For the subscriptions, an automatic method would be the prefered method for users to be placed in a group, but if one is not avalable I'm open to using a manual method.

The age verifcation serves more than one task and any sort of suggestions on a reliable module would be welcome.

As for the Hosted Gallerys, This would be a static HTML page built by the admin of the site, I understand that most gallery appliations can do this, I was more curious if there was one that would be best for only site admins to use. Also the ability to put text comments in the gallery would be a huge plus.

Thank you again for the help.
