Flat view in newbb 2?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to set the default view for newbb 2 to flat. I don't like the threaded view, but I can't figure out if this is an option. Can you do this, and if so - how?

I've looked there, but all I see are:

Enable Notification
Enable Specific Events

About the 31 entry down "View Mode of the Threads

To override the General Settings of viewmode within threads, set to NONE in order to switch feature off"

Select Flat.

I don't see that option, I only see 2 options.

Ahh, you are using newbb version 1 not newbb 2. The preferences is set for that just as the comments in System Admin - Preferences - General Settings, About 26 settings down "Default Comment Display Mode" set it to flat. Make sure the setting in your user account (go to edit account to check) is also set to flat, as it will over ride the default settings. Any new members should be auto set to flat by default.
