The problem manifests itself when trying to navigate to a specific articles from the links. If you are on the index page - the link tries to access the article by the renamed reference - there is no real module of this name and an error occurs.

If you are on the article page the problem is in the navigation links at the top of the page. The link leaves out the module name. http://www.xxxx.com/modules//articleXXXXXXX

The error is due I think to the variable $lang_moduledirname
I don't think you can rename a physical directory to a variable language name??

Anyway I hope this is more specific.

Is there anyway for me to hack the soapbox spotlight block so that it displays more than one column. For example:

Column 1
--Latest Article
Article Teaser
Column 2
--Latest Article
Article Teaser
