just curious .. why don't you keep the nice header you have in the original site (politicsforum.com), if I were you I'll keep it, all you have to do is edit the theme/YOURCHOSENTHEME/theme.html

1, because I do not want the flash on all my pages
2. because I do not have it in html
3. it is too large to fit. it will not span over to the center so I will have a weird empti top left corner just under it.
