Yup.. i know that, but my goal is not to have specific banner on the specific page eg
http://www.carownersmanuals.net/manuals.category.33/Mercury-Owners-Manuals.html

but in whole category and all pages in it.. eg category is mercury, and the page is specific model.

The problem is that in urlrewrite there is no category definition when showing item (page) eg.

http://www.carownersmanuals.net/manuals.item.2623/Mercury-Cougar-Owners-Manual-1996.html

If you are using the breadcrums in publisher then in the publisher_header.html template there is a smarty variable <{$categoryPath}>. Maybe you can use this to match the category that you are looking for.

Hi there,

I saw smarty var in publisher category.header, and it works on categories table, but how to show it in items? Eg. if the category is FOCUS, how to show category.header in top of every article?
