That screenshot is of newbb 2.0.2 and not CBB 3.08 (which should look like these forums).

Did you update the module in modules admin?
Did you clear your website cache and browser cache?
did you completely delete the newbb files from your server before replacing them with the newbb folder from the cbb module download?

hmm one more issue.

everything works just alrigt 'cept for the new post/edit. i can see the form but it has white bg with no theme.

I have installed xoopseditor from the link provided in the readme, and even newer verision of frameworks. what's wrong?

Which versions of xoopseditors and Frameworks did you upload?

Before I updated to XOOPS 2.3.x I was using Frameworks 1.22 and xoopseditors 1.21 on XOOPS 2.0.18.2 and this combo worked really well.

i've uploaded the same combination but it didn't change a thing. so i basically get this weird behaviour on every page that has a submission form. any other ideas? it looks kinda ugly...

maybe there is some way to install it? all i did I just uploaded those files in appropriate folders..

That's a little too vague for my liking

You should have the following directory structure:

xoops_root/class/xoopseditor
xoops_root/Frameworks
xoops_root/modules/newbb

Other than the odd-looking submission form, is the module working okay?

yeah that's the structure i have. no, nothing else but the weird looking submission form.

fixed. should have deleted /frameworks/xoops22/ cos im using XOOPS 2.2.

you might find it useful to mention it here: http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?newbb on the cbb 3.8 release. it's said about it in one of the earlier release, but not in cbb 3.8
