Oke i tried. My css is now like this:

td#mainmenu a {background-color: #FFFFFF; url(http://www.website.nl/themes/default/bg.jpg) height: 62; width; 162; no-repeat;display: block; margin: 5px; padding: 0px; background: #e3e8e0 url(blankbutton.gif) no-repeat;
text-align: center;}


The bg.jpg is a background of the whole menu and works. The blankbutton comes as a button behind the button tekst. This works.

When I change margin to 5px the menu also goes to the right? I think 5 px to the right and a space between them. Why does that change both?
