okay lol, may it is, well thanx for your help is it possible that cookie/cache is causing this would cleaning the users cache maybe solve this?

lol okay, ill have to try that out tomorrow cause that guy is pretty dense he wont know what i'm on about so ill do it for him and ill report back, thanx for the help anyway

Did anyone find a cure for this problem? I have exactly the same and it's driving me crazy

Well - I'm not sure what caused it, but it appears I had some Database corruption.

Fortunately those very nice people at 3dPixelnet had a recent backup for me .. so this sorted my problem out!

Thanks to Alan and Liz at the 3DPixelnet team,...

I am having the same problem.. I've tried to get them to clean their cache and cookies didn't work... I do have XOOPS Protector could that effect it?

I did try to register and it worked perfectly fine for me.

it's weird..

any help would be appreciated.

I also had the same problem and I found out one reason for it.
I am not sure if it is the only reason.

Some of the users at registration were entering more data than the column in the database could take.

For example, the user_aim field size is 18 and one of my users was trying to register withh something lot more than that and it failed.

I modified the DB and it worked.
