It is up to the developers of the modules to fix them. We cannot force them to. The QA team was formed to test modules for compatibility and usability and have the modules certified by them will go a long way in having the modules fixed.

Adding fixes immediately, without thorough testing is not a good idea. Fixes and new features always require a new release (version change) if it takes 3 months to test the changes so be it.
