UPDATE : I deleted the 2.1 files and uploaded 2.0 and I got to the install screen and see how it goes from there....

Deleted the 2.1 fiels and uploaded the 2.0 files and got the install screen first try.

I now have this Error :

Warning [PHP]: main(/hermes/data13/b568/moo.lordso/class/database/databasefactory.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file include/common.php line 78

I am at work atm but will look further into it - just posted to see if someone knew right off hand.

I am stuck on the install..

I get to "Confirm DB settings" and when I click next blank screen, and according to Warpigs walkthrough I should see "Check DB".

Anyone.. anyone..??

Ok.. I tried 2.1 and got an error (as stated previous).

Tried 2.0 and got the blank screen during the install (as stated previous).

So on a whim I installed 1.3 and it works first try.

WHY???

I am going to try and upgrade it.

well ran the 2.0 and it created all the tables this time then got a blank screen in the end. Deleted the files once more - ran the install and got "Tables already exsist" so I change the mainfile.php to 444 and it works.

Yeah it works!

Yep, haven't touched it for three days (after I got it working) and I go to look at it tonight and it's back to a blank page.

Xoops is not for me.
