Re: installation

OK, thanks. It looks like PHP/MySQL is only available in the premium and enhanced packages. It is not available in the Intro package. Also, just my opinion, these prices are rather steep, and if their features are correct they do not upgrade PHP, MySQL that often (PHP 4.3.6, MySQL 3.23.49.)

Which package are you using? And if you are using the enhanced or premium package with PHP MySQL access, you could find a much cheaper, reliable host with standard paths to work with.
I could not find any information on other server features.

Sorry.

Re: installation

Well the prices you see are for people who dont have service with SBC. I have the enhanced package that does have PhP and Myqgl and mssql support. WIth thier service i got a 3meg d/l and 256 u/l for $19.95. PLUS i can get this billed on my house phone every month. Now on to some good news. As of 1:30am last night i was able to get it working and installed. The issue was i was placing all the files here "/"....but when i created a new folder "xoop" it would install correctly. Now that is the good news. Now i got some bad news now. When you type in my url http://mytech-world.net/ it comes up with the directory and not the page. Now i can easy put a index.html file there which will make one redirect there. but thats doing half a$$ and i dont like to do it that way. Any ideas of how i can redirect it properly? I guess it could be benifical since this is going to be a page where only my company has access Unless XOOPS has the ability to set it up where no one can access the web site w/o Reg and loggin.

Thx for all ya'll help
