brash, a Feature List seems like a real good idea.

I don't see how it could be viewed as subjective, as the rating of such features would be.

Example
-------
Feature | xcgal | myalbum-p | xoopsgallery | ...
Needs GD | x | x | x | ...
Library

Allow
users 2
create
albums | X | x | x | ...

What we need is a list of features, up to creating it brash ?

Having said this, I'm sure there is a list of features (hypothetically speaking), that all modules have, so maybe there should be a focus on distinguishing features (e.g. block sets and their funcions).

I would say it is subjective in regards to what features are compared. A feature considered essential by one user might have no use for another, for instance I find the support for EXIF data that is in xcGallery to be very useful, although I imagine it might be rather useless for others. How and who is to decide what features should be considered in the comparison? You're idea of distinguising features is a good idea though . I still think this would best decided upon by a group, rather than a single person. I'd love to do something like this, but only if I did it WITH someone else. It'd have to be in the new year too, as I am going to be all kinds of drunk from around now through to the new year .

I am going to give XCGallery a shot because I need my users to be able to construct their own albums.

Can't users create their own albums in Xoopsgallery, too?

Thanks :)
