Exactly my point. I suck at being creative, but at least I can convert other people's work to be used in XOOPS.
I'd rather do modules for a fee than themes - but I've got to get an income and if the demand is for TemplateMonster conversions, then that is what I supply
And I may get what I pay for - but so far there haven't been major problems. 125 megs of space, PHP, MySQL... easy interface to create subdomains etc. (H-Sphere)... that's all I need - so I don't see the reason to pay $40 a month, when I can pay $1.5.
However, if my needs were greater, e.g. I require backups/security/stability for a mission-critical site, I wouldn't say that $40 a month is excessive.
