Hey I am sure this is something stupid but in the url it creates when you click tell a friend, instead of "&" it is adding "&" in the url.

check it out in the Library or Links at http://www.volcanoboy.com click tell a friend and you will see what I mean. I tried editing the templates replacing all the "&" with "&" but it didn't work.

I didn?t notice anything wrong with your tell a friend, either on the links and on the downloads section.

yeah it works but if you notice the url it creates when it pops up your email is not correct. For instance this url http://volcanoboy.com/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?cid=4&_amp;lid=6

should be

http://volcanoboy.com/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?cid=4&lid=6

Let me put my glasses on ........sorry I can?t see any diference between those urls.

I got a http://volcanoboy.com/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?cid=4&lid=6

when try to submit......

hahah your right, I didn't notice but this forum must be fixing what I am posting because it is HTML

the problem is that the URL that gets put into the email instead of "&" puts in the html code for "&" & amp;

the best way I can demostrate is to click on the tell a friend from a download item or a link, copy and paste the link from your email into a browser and see that it doesn't work.

Ok, now i see......

But when i pasted the url on the browser (IE & Firefox) It works with no problem at all.

It leads me to your link........

Hey Barton

I?m trying to find a solution.........

Guess is something in the "singlelink.php" and "singlefile.php"

What?s the XOOPS version that you?re running?

I only noticed this little bug on the mylinks and mydownloads modules.

Did u find the same error with other modules?

I am using 2.0.7.3

I don't notice it in other modules but the only other one with the email to a friend function is the Articles module (named Patchbay on this site) That module has a great email to friend feature.
