Can anyone point me to the file I need to edit to change the post time from 24h to 12h time?

you can change the time format in language/YOUR_LANG/global.php
e.g. for 12h format change "G" to "g"
le="color: #000000"><?php define("_DATESTRING","Y/n/j g:i:s"); define("_MEDIUMDATESTRING","Y/n/j g:i"); define("_SHORTDATESTRING","Y/n/j");
