newbbpro 1.03 icon mistake

Hello,

Despite a large search trough code, I can't explain why icon,in newbb pro 1.03 (samuel's one), display sometimes in errors


example HERE newbbpro doesn't find the icon link...

on my site, icons don't display on the left of each thread, and this, only in public forums.

Who succeeds to explain these mistakes...?

I saw a few posts away that these debug infos are quite normal.
I saw that newbb 2 has new code, that is strongly different from original's one (newbb 1)...
but who has the same "icon mistake" with these version of newbb ?Who can confirm ?

Why not, backup sql db for all tables of forums and then backup your newbb pro folder, then disable and uninstall. Then delete it from your server, then re upload a freshly download version of it. Then readd your sql db data, could help. I have same newbb pro installed with no probs, I never install newbb at all, just newbbpro.

Make sure you have modules\newbb\images and make sure it's CHMOD to at least 755
Inside you should have a bunch of files that are all CHMOD to 644.

ok, all files were correctly chmoded...
pb is still there...

which version of XOOPS do you run ? 2.0.7 (it's mine) ?

same problem
seems that french é,à,è make newbb difficult to display icons... or perhaps a cookie mystake ?

Yes, 2.0.7... my forum doesn't have that problem.. ?
Maybe I do.. I don't see it though. On the Samuel site, I see the problem also but what icon is it trying to display I wonder.. ?

look at the post I made in samuel's forum. I had a look a the file listed over there, but did not find where an error stays in one of the loops through the code....
