Hi Guys

so I was looking for a new cms as I have very little programming knowledge when I came
across xoops which I like the look of very much. However im having what I hope are a few teething
problems:

1. Im logged in as admin I cant logout I get a blank screen when I try to do so(using firefox)
2. I can't login same again blank white screen (IE 11)
3. If you look here how do I get initial content
on the white space here?

1) You might be getting white screen if you have an old version of PHP. You should have at least PHP 5.3.7

2) To get initial content there, there are two ways:

a) if you just want something static, you can create a new block, and put some text there (or HTML code)

b) if you want something like News articles, then install a module like News. In the XOOPS Admin, in Preferences, in the "Module for your start page" option, select the News module.

You should also get the "XOOPS Operations Guide"
