Okay i am useing XOOPS now to make a new site but my old site is still there and has diffrent groups like plat or basic

I want to know if i can make a page so were they log on to the old site if they log on as a plat user it goes to the plat page then redirects to the new site as a new user registration and it will automatctly put them into the plat users group of if they log in as a basic memeber it will reditrect them to the new site as a register as a basic member is there ways to do this if i am unclear just let me know lol

Okay
OLDSITE user is a plat memeber points them to new site register -> New site has them register and automacitly puts them in the plat goup

I pretty much want to know if i can make a registration page that will auto add a user to a group so i can make 2 diff registration pages 1 to add to plat 1 to add to basic

What cms are you coming from. There are many scripts out there for migrating your user tables.

That looks like it will work but none of the pages in the admin panel show anything except perferences

okay fixed it but how would i make it go to a certin group i dont know how id add a filed there that would put them in a group auto
