Missing modinfo.php files

I have installed XOOPS on several occasions, however the new version is kicking me some errors. This modinfo.php is missing when unzipped.

html/language/english/modinfo.php

There are missing modinfo files from other new modules I have experimented with such as teamspeak.

modules/xoops_teamspeak/language/english/modinfo.php

Anyone else experienced this or have a fix.

I am also getting the same error. Any solution to this?

I unzipped them in windows and FTP'ed the files. I haven't tried it on linux but it shouldn't make any difference I don't think. I have installed XOOPS this way plenty of times.

I also don't think it is the server environment. Have other XOOPS sites on both servers.

I'm getting errors everywhere. Am I overlooking something basic?

modinfo.php is modulespecific. Hence it is very odd if its missing in your xoops-rootfolder/language.

I did a search over several XOOPS releases from 1.x over 2.0.x to 2.2.x and in no package i could find a modinfo.php in that folder you mentioned.

Can you please copy & paste the full error message and tell us when exactly it occurs?

Also Which package exactly do you use? 2.2.3a ?
Which additional module packages?

There is an error in the module admin section as well. There is a module in the install list with a dead image link with this error msg: Module File for Not Found!. It was in the install script as well. I didn't select it, but is showed up anyways.. can't get rid of it.

There are javascript errors reported by the browser IE as well, when debug mode is on, but OK when off.

Like the new version if I can debug it. Also have an accounting module I wrote almost ready for release.

Oh the version is: XOOPS 2.2.3 Final

myphpadmin is also installed but doesn't show up in any menu.

The error of the missing modinfo.php in the XOOPS language root is not there anymore, for some bizzare reason, but I swear it was...really :)

it shall not be any refference to modinfo.php in include/functions.php unless phpmyadmin-module require so,
replace include/functions.php with a fresh new one.

BTW, didn't know there was any phpmyadmin-module
