I'm getting a "can't connnect to database" message when I try to install phpadsnew on my site.

What do I input when it asks for: 1)database hostname? 2) database username? 3) database password? 4) database name?

Is it creating a new database seperate from the one that I created when I installed my XOOPS site? Or is it trying to connect to the existing database?

Also, do I leave the advanced settings at their default?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
