Expand news text on front page?

I am running the latest version of Xoops, as well as the latest version of the news module. Tell me please, how can I configure XOOPS so that it displays the entire portion of "The Scoop" section?

I don't want users to have to see the truncated news title and one line of text. I'd actually like it to look like XOOPS home page.

i think it's a modified version from "spotlight module".

search for "spotlight" or go to http://www.wf-projects.com. the module is available at the developer site.

Thanks for the link! It SEEMS to be what I want. However, the "News Spotlight Image" has been resized. it's huge and bloated. I can't figure out how to get it to the correct size. Also, Even without an image for the news item Spotlight still wants to make space for the image. It looks like heck.
