When visitors come to my website I want them to view a welcome page explaining that they have to register and pay $4.95 through paypal to view the rest of the information or be a member.

Does XOOPS support this kind of functionality? I do not see any way through the admin interface to force registration and make sure they paid through paypal before the registration is complete.

Suggestions?

There is a paypal registration script, do a search you will find it. But it is not "an integration" with xoops.

Thing you could do:

1. modify register.php file, replacing the codes with a notice and paypal link
2. when people clicked on paid content, they would be re-directed to this new register page or you could exlain your policy in the log-in page.
