It is not posssible to see the image in featured news, i see white bal with a numer 1 in it, but the image i have uploaded with the news article is not there ?
Featured content glider also display nothing, is there a special way to add news and images ?

The images should be uploaded as described in the readme file: numbered from 1-5 to the images directory. To empty the cache may be a good idea, too. If you want the image uploaded with your article to be diplayed in the slider, you have to upload it the the same way.
Featured content glider on the other side doesn't use images.
I reuploaded the file to sf.net in the meantime and fixed the error with main.php.

It would be nice to have some automation in the images so the actual pictures in posts are used. For websites with frequent news updates updating and resizing images by hand is very time consuming...
Could this be done by making this blocks a part of the news module? It would be a very nice addition to a new version of the news module!

also tell you taht i dont know what criterion are using the module to choose the news to show, but in my case is showing randomly some news even fron year 2006

I have 5 news articles and the module shows all of them but its only able to get pick the image from the first news only on the rest its using the default images which is the actual problem here. Thanks for post and i hope someone will work on it to make it perfect.

Re: Newsslider 1.2 BetaNothing new yet, but as a matter of fact, we did talk yesterday with Heyule about it. He wants to have a nice slider for News on his Websites, and is willing to contribute his designer talent to it, so we were looking at different options.
I wish, Yerres would come back and continue with Newsslider 
But together with Huyule we looked also at some other options, so we'll see what will come out of that, based on the available time, which is not much 
So if anybody wants to help, please let us know....
