I guess i'm not that good at promoting my work. lol :)
Anyways I just made this because piCal was too much for my needs, and a bit hard to maintain, alter and teach to my clients.
Moreover the import from facebook saved me a lot of time.
So far it does what i need! And I've been using it for almost a year now, correcting bugs etc.
examples
It's appearance can be completely changed by css since every cell of the calendar is multiclassed.

2. If event has no image it is necessary auto to change image by default in coming events and ajax or an empty place
3. If in mini calendar there are days of next month with events it isn't displayed
4. What maximum quantity of events is displayed in a calendar and coming events and ajax ? Whether It is possible to change it?
5. In an Ajax one event is displayed only
6. When you press the button "more" about event that disappears from blocks mini calendar and coming events
Wishes:
1. The button is very necessary "repeat event" in a year (week, month). It is necessary for example for birthday of any public person.
2. How to add display of date of event in coming events?
3. How to remove display of category in coming events?

The changes in this one are the following
- changed - in calendar block the dates of other months are now hidden, only current month's dates are visible
- fixed - edit event's dates bug in admin
- fixed left overs of hardcoded words - in admin area of events and categories
- added default image to show when an event hasn't got one

Strangeness in that today on August, 28th. But in "Today's events" event for example on September, 29th. And "More events" event for example on September, 28th. What logic?
And in a language file I see that "More events" corresponds "_MD_CALENDAR_ALREADY_STARTED_EVENT", that is events which already started?
And why that is displayed only one event...

2.5.0 has some serious bugs and look forward to getting 2.5.2 shortly as it is supposed to have fixed all the current bugs. Hopefully there will be no new bugs so 2.6 can be started up.
If it is not appearing on your user pages check your permissions and make sure they are all right for each page.

Re: New Calendar moduleMaybe that wont be necessary mate. I used the short tags on some php files. This might be your problem. I updated the new 1.5 version with the sort tags replaced now.
So if you update the module I think you should be ok.
Have a look please. I dont think that its a xoops problem.

I just updated and checked the module.
2 problems I found,
1. in back-end "Categories", I wasn't able to click "New" button.
2. when I click "Events", it showed a blank page.
I have also tried in 2.5.1a, and no luck.
Please check it again, hope it's just my problem.
By the way, does this module support Google Calendar by any chance.

this:
admin/index.php?op=&action=eventadmin&action=newevent means that when you click on the events tab, if there is any category, you must make sure that steps automatically, in the categories box, you know?
must create a code like this:
if($categories > 0)
go to page new event
else
necessary at least one category

There is an incompatibility with extcal, precisement with class pear "calendar" it is the same class name.
With extcal it is not a problem we can find a solution, but with the library "pear", it is more problematique.

I have a question, which may or may not be a bug.
When I view an event (the page that has the Facebook like at the bottom) in Internet Explorer 9, everything shows perfect.
However, when I view that same page on a machine running Internet Explorer 8, it seems to cut off the bottom portion of the text?
If I F5 that page a few times to reload it. Then it finally seems to load correct?
