Re: Jobs ModuleHi there. This module looks really promising. But it doesn't look finished and totally integrated into XOOPS yet.
1. It doesn't have a JOBS icon/logo in the Administration Control Panel. Currently it is just a blank box.
2. Under Jobs admin - adding a job - not a lot of space to edit the entry. Some part should be text areas eg Description, What's Offered, What's Required and Advantages.
3. It doesn't have a preference section - eg what can one load up into the profile? I tried loading a PDF resume and it failed. And where do the profile go to? The webmaster?
Also if possible can we customise the terms eg you call it Profile in your module, we call it CV or Resume. And I'm not sure what Advantages is.. is it 'Benefits'? eg Dental, Car, Parking etc????
Despite all these, it looks promising. Are you putting this into the community to help debug and improve or are you wanting to code it yourself?

I thought of putting up a screen shot but the image manager doesn't work for me. And my site is an intranet site so its not accesible to you all.

The ability to allow a candidate to download an electronic file of the job offer would be quite helpful.
I've found out why I couldn't load the PDF file. I had to CHMOD the jobs/uploads directory to 666
Once the candidate uploaded his 'profile' the administrator goes to the Admin Control Panel, click on the blank logo (JOBS) and then click on 'List Offers'. Inside List Offers is a link to 'Candidates' where you can view the responses.

Re: Jobs ModuleMy feeling is that this module is meant to be used only by one company, the one behind the XOOPS site.
Registered users cannot add jobs 
Looks very promising though, some suggestions:
- allow any registered user to submit jobs
- when expiring a job add a confirmation page
- use textarea for job description
- allow applicants to either upload a CV or write/paste one in a textarea field
- add 'Print' page for job details
- notify the job submiter when someone applies
- add comments
- add notifications
- make the Position and Establishment part of the description (not separate tables) and instead use hierarchical categories
