1st ModDev project: XOOPS eCommerce module

| This is a general invitation to developers to sign up for the first XOOPS Module Development project: a XOOPS eCommerce module.
By popular demand the XOOPS Module Development Team has decided that the first project will be the development of a full blown eCommerce module for XOOPS. We would like to invite all developers who want to participate actively in this project to send an e-mail with your level of experience, motivation, feature wishes and an estimate of your available time to herko@modules.xoops2.com. Experience with eCommerce apps like osCommerce is an advantage.
At this stage of the project, we are only looking for developers. Designers, docwriters and translators will be asked to join the project at a later stage.
One of the developers will be made Project Leader. He or she will be the lead developer. This will most likely be the developer with the most experience. If you feel up for this position, please include this in your e-mail.
Since the XOOPS Module Development Team is still in it's early stages, please have an open mind as to the setting of coding standards, quality controls, and such more. We are learning as we go, and have to make some choises as we go as well. But, that's all in the game.
If you, or anyone you know, would like to donate some resources for this project (which is, after all, a commercially interesting development for the xoops system), please contact Herko at the aforementioned e-mail address. Remeber that this could speed up the development of this module.
First order of business is to set the list of features to be included in the module, and to decide on the way to go about this project.
