XoopsCare Beta 1 Instant Zero, a specialist of eSolutions based on Open Source technologies, is happy to announce you the birth of a new Xoops module which is designed to help you to maintain your website easily and automatically. With the module you can : 1/ Maintain your database (check, repair, analyse and optimize your tables) 2/ Run you own queries when you want 3/ Execute Php code when you want it 4/ Clean templates_c and cache folders 5/ Remove spammed comments 6/ Clean sessions
For each of this actions, you can define if you want to do it or not and when to do it (you can schedule it). Additionally, you can log all the actions made by the module and, if you have them, use CRONs to maintain you site. If you don't have the possibility to use a CRON then activate the module's block somewhere on your site (where you want), and the module will automatically and when it's necessary, do the tasks you scheduled. For this moment this module is available as a Release Candidate 1. It means that you don't have to use it on a production site but it is recommended to test it. This module is available in french and english but we are searching for other translations. You can use this forum to have help and to suggest enhancements : http://xoops.instant-zero.com/modules/newbbex/viewforum.php?forum=9 You can download our module here : http://xoops.instant-zero.com/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?cid=12&lid=27 There is an inline help directly available from the module's administration. Once you have downloaded the module, unzip it and copy the files to your website then install it as any other module. Then go to the module's administration to set the preferences. Even if we have made everything we could to have the best module, use this module at your own risk ! Let us know if you like this module, Instant Zero
