Release of SmartSection 2.12 RC 1 !

|  The SmartFactory is very proud to release the new version of its articles management module SmartSection 2.1 RC 1 !
What's new in version 2.12 RC 1?
Since release of 2.1 RC 2, many bugs have been fixed, mostly regarding XOOPS 2.0.14, 2.0.15 and 2.2.x, as well as regarding MySQL 5.x. You will be happy to know that SmartSection now fully works with all versions of XOOPS (2.0.x and 2.2.x). 
The new upgrade procedure of the SmartModules has been implemented in SmartSection. You don't need to "Check tables" after updating the module. Everything is done automatically when the module is updated.
The module is now using the SmartMetaGen class of the SmartObject framework to manage automatic creation of meta keywords and description. The SmartFactory would like to thank PsyLove as he is responsible for most of the improvments of the SmartMetaGen!
Finally, a new block has been added to list the latest files uploaded to articles within the modules.

What is SmartSection?
SmartSection is an article management module for your XOOPS site. It is intended to provide the best functionnalities of the News and WF-Section modules. The administrator would have the opportunity to use the module to manage news, article, tutorials, etc... It is intended to be complete, flexible and yet easy to use.
Where can I get it ?
Carefully read the file upgrade.txt as it contains important informations about the steps that need to be performed in order to successfully upgrade to this version.
As a usual recommendation : The SmartFactory STRONGLY recommends that you take a full backup before INSTALLING or UPDATING any module.

The language packs are available here : SmartSection Language packs. We encourage the community to create the different language package needed and submit them on The SmartFactory site.
