Now available for download the version 2.1.70 of Common Utilities. While this version is still labeled Beta, stability brought us forward to the next final release. This update contains fixes for previously reported issues and changes that improve the basic functions of rmcommon. The changes primarily affect the handling of images by the Image Manager, RMTemplate class to make it more versatile and functional and TinyMCE editor has been updated to its latest version. In addition, improved graphical stuff TinyMCE editor.
Another important change is that as of this release we have moved our repository to Assembla, so we recommend using the features of our space to participate in this project. You can download the update package in the download section or by clicking this link. If you want to report mistakes we recommend using the ticket system on our Assembla space. You can also make suggestions or discuss about using rmcommon in our forum (Spanish).

Re: Common Utilities 2.1.70
Is there anyway to disable jquery & jquery ui loading in user side?
Re: Common Utilities 2.1.70
Nice to see a new version of Common Utilities! But I also have a complaint, not particular about your posting, I see many postings like these on xoops.org....
When posting news about a module, please always include information about what the module does and what it is about. Assuming everybody knows what it does is a mistake, I had to dig in my memory, but people new to Xoops won't have any clue.
In this case the links in the article also point to a not english spoken website. So newbies have to do a lot of work to get a clue. I I where a newbie I would go to google and search for another cms....
Re: Common Utilities 2.1.70
If you open forum thread (here) like Mamba's modules, which will be much better....
Select the appearance taht you wish for Lightbox plugin
Once Administrators are Site Administrators, in another string they're Webmasters ? What are administrators at last ?
Options are Preferences, u can't use on first line Option and then to be followed by settings are saved, Option, Optional is used for adding something optional, not for main preferences on whole module or particular part of it.
I'm rejecting to use any 3rd party SVN/Assembles and such. All module developers must respond to the bug reports here, nor me, nor anyone else have to learn Spanish and to make thousand of registrations to post 1-2 bugs.
What If I start to post all my comments in Bulgarian, bug reports, suggestions, etc, who the hell will understand me ?
Got away for month and something, and anarchy is back with full speed What happen with XOOPS SVN which should be used by all module developers, not on they're own SVN/Assembles and such ?
This is community driven project (at least was months ago), since something is developed to be used with THIS CORE made by few volunteers and released by THIS site, all 3rd party addons/modules/plugins/extensions will be:
- Responding to bugs on xoops.org forums, 1 registration is enough, not thousands. - Using XOOPS SVN, so rest developers can correct bug or/and add feature, otherwise there will be 30 versions of News/NewBB maintained by none.
Is it so hard ? Why this forum can't be like forum.joomla.org ? Yeah, there and 3rd party forums on the extension developer site, but people first look for help on the main forum without requirement to learn every language on this planet....
What is Common Utilities without XOOPS ? Nothing, same and for rest modules.....
Currently your files are on auto-update from Google CODE on Transifex, u're advertising Assembla, where are they finally ? Assembla, Google, SourceForge ?
IMO the new SVN is hard for new users but i personally only update newbb in the new SVN. The old SVN supposed to be freezed but still people can commit. As i said im agree with you on below items: - all developers must commit to xoops official SVN in sourceforge. https://sourceforge.net/p/xoops/svn/ If a developer have another SVN it is a personal/fork project and not Xoops project.
- all developers must support in xoops.org forums. - all bugs and feature request only in xoops.org forums/bug tracker/ feature tracker
while a developer can have an optional/additional/local support site/repository/svn he/she should officially work only on xoops.org website for a XOOPS project.
Re: Common Utilities 2.1.70
Installed this module but getting this error when i go to the admin section:
Quote:
Errors Warning: include_once(/modules/rmcommon/themes/default/admin_gui.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file /modules/rmcommon/class/template.php line 117 Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening '/modules/rmcommon/themes/default/admin_gui.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;C:/xampp/php/PEAR') in file /modules/rmcommon/class/template.php line 117
I have done everything that it says in the readme.
I noticed there is no such directory '/modules/rmcommon/themes/default/'.
What am I doing wrong? Is the latest rmcommon broken? I can only download the beta version from Red Mexico.
Re: Common Utilities 2.1.70
Did you choose "redmexico" (at general settings) like admin GUI ..(First "redmexico" folder upload on your server)
Re: Common Utilities 2.1.70
Got it working now. I downloaded the beta version before. (There is missing files in that archive).
However, I don't see the point of Common Utilities. All i see is a new nice Admin GUI. But that's it. I don't see any new features or something like that.
Can someone tell me what the benefits of having this installed is?
Re: Common Utilities 2.1.70
If you want to use some modules like Mywords , xthemes or theme like Inception you must have rmcommon.
I use this bundle with one of my site. Not finish yet but if you want to check it here is the link. http://www.bahistanbul.net

Mamba and rest any reply on this ? Still no rules...., huh ?
Re: Common Utilities 2.1.70
Xoops 2.5.5 on Unix Apache server hosted on Arvixe. Installed Common Utilities 2.1.70 rmcommon module, dtransport, and forum modules - All worked fine. Problem: Common Utilities appeared in Menu - Solution: went into Common Utilities Control Panel and toggled "Appears in Menu" option from Checkmark to Big red X.
Whamo - Internal server error 500 on all pages - main, admin, rmcommon direct.
So, went in with PHPMyAdmin and toggled all the 0's for display module in menu back to 1s. No more Internal server error 500, but no all are BLANK pages. The usual Blank Page remedies do not fix it. Looking over the code now, but frankly am not much of a PHP guru.
At this time, my web site (dleinc.org) for a non-profit organization is bricked, and I haven't got a clue. Will post in forum if that is better, but which one? RedMexico forums are all spanish - mi espanol es poquito (see?). Any Xoops ORG folks who may have a clue, I am all ears. Nice folks who need the site are of course worried, as am I.
