It's been a time I made something, but I can't sit still so I ported a module to xoops called Shoutbox. This modules was original designed for ##### but because I don't use ##### (deuh) I ported it to xoops. It could be that there are still bugs in it because a porting almost never ends without problems...

i only see a white blank block ..

i can type but when press "shout"
nothing coming up.

still nothing after "refresh"

Hello,

Sorry, I have forgotten to say it, maybe you forgot to CHMOD on Unix systems the shoutbox.cvs file. Do that and try again.

Hello,

I forgot to put in it, never place it in the left sides blocks because it always try to focus on it. And that will give problems (not probs, but it's not handy)

Hi,

Another problem in installing it on the left side is that the posting of comments stoped working.

Other than that, it's working great.

I'm still having problems with this, when I type a message in the shoutbox it never appears on the page. Also you mention chmod ing the cache dir and the file within it, what mode do I need to set it to??

I already have a perfectly working version of shoutbox. So is this just an upgrade to it that you are doing or a completely different shoutbox?

it is the same shoutbox but 1.32 is a very old version...
4.0 got templates and many new features... check the homepage from alphalogic
