I would like to see some additions to QA to make it easier for Theme designers to make sure that all modules and core will display in a compatible way.

There should be a "HTML class standards" section.

example:
The User Login Block has the formbutton class assigned to the form button:
<input class="formbutton" type="submit" value="User Login" />

Yet the same function offered though user.php doesn't.
<input type="submit" value="User Login" />

So if I want to use the class formbutton in my Theme's style sheet, then my 2 buttons look different.

It seems that developers tend use the class='odd' and class='even' fairly consistently, but again this is undocumented in the QA.

Just my 2 satangs worth.

there is one : B8 in "Bug Free" spreadsheet : "W3C/CSS compliant/XHTML"
we still have to find a good xhtml compliant theme.

we definitely need those best practices feedbacks.
i propose you to write a draft (in forum) in which you could you tell us which best practices mods devs should use. Are you ok ?
i will improve our tool on these points within next version
