Changelog 1.14

1 bugfix for inactive user posting (Reported by Aries @ xoops.org.cn)
2 bugfix for deleting topic with poll (Reported by gropius @ xoops.org.cn)
3 change default value for displaying forum topic time duration (Reported by Zjerre @ xoops.org)
4 change formselectuser.php for XOOPS 2.2

download:
CBB 1.14 patch: 1.13 -> 1.14
CBB 1.13 full package

From now on, there will be two series:
CBB 1.*, further bugfix versions for XOOPS 2.0*
CBB 2.*, further development versions for XOOPS 2.2+

OK, Have a question here. I just applied the patch, but am getting conflicting version numbers.

In the modules admin page I am showing version 1.12.
In the About page within the module I am showing version 1.13.

Both of these is after updating the CBB module in modules admin.

i have just upgraded from newbb2 to cbb 1.13 and the topic menu where you have the drop down box, i clicked it to hover and now i cannot access the options... i am missing the java script or something..i am going to update to 1.14 but any idea how to sort this...also all the topic replies are branched , i have tried changing the option in View Mode of the Threads but it doesnt make a diff

any help would be great

I also am getting conflicting vesion numbers both on the 1.13 and the 1.14 patches. As well, this was after updating both system and newbb mods (and for good measure, template_c files).

Also I like the streamlined look and feel of cbb as opposed to the latest newbb2. What are some of the other differences?

If you are using newbb 1 you will need the full version. Also see the Newbb 1 to Newbb 2 Upgrade Flash Tutorial to help guiding you through the upgrade process. The upgrade process is the same as for newbb 2 with CBB.

Regarding cbb and the newbb. what are the primary differences. Was looking for something that had the differences. cbb certainly looks 'slimmer' but is it really?

Not necessarily true.

CBB provides more options (choices) and you perhaps happen to see a slimmer option :=)

Shouldn't the "full package" be 1.14 and not require two downloads?

Jamescne, the latest version is 1.14, only a few bugfix over 1.13 (that's why Did not make a fullpackage, sorry for the inconvenience)

sorry Im not un derstanding the difference between cbb and newbb. I thought it was slimmer but now I realize that was a style thing?

I really like the clean format at the CN site. Is that from configuring the forum or stylesheet/template.

Can you let us know what the [primary differences are? There might be a few out there like me that are finally going to upgrade the newbb. But to which version , they all sound so good.

How is the group handling on cbb? For instance. What other differences are their on the admin end that am not able to see by just visiting the site?

(and/or ,also if their is a wiki or sort describing these differences please direct me to it)
