This is a member stats module. It shows online list with country detection block, members list, member ranks and membership statistics (today registration, yesterday and total members).

I don't understand....

For download, this module that seems to be fantastic, they make me register.... no problem on this....

The big problem is that I don't know to speak the Malaysian language !!!

And no translation is offered !!!!.... reilly don't understand !!!!

For whom interested.... what I've deducted is the following....

For registering, you must click in "Daftar"...

When registering, "Nama Gelaran" is your nick or name, "Emel" is your e-mail, "Laman web" you web, "Zon masa" your hour, "Katakunci" is password, "Pastican katakunci" is reenter your password, "Terima notis......." is if you want to receive e-mails, "Ya" is Yes and "Tidak" is No and "Antar" is Accept....

i don't speak malaysian too

the error you got:
KESILAPAN: Alamat email telah digunakan.

means that: ERROR: your email address has been used..

you must have ever registered before? (or somebody else use your email address )

The Block looks great

Just had some trouble with it and had to take it down.

It was working fine for some minutes.
Suddenly my page gave me an : Internal 500 error.

mind opening the download section to non member?
common now.. be sincere about letting the module for download.. lots of us don't speak Malaysian language.

would be nice if its uploaded into xoops.

I was able to reproduce my Internal Error 500.

It happens everytime , a second memebr logs into the page.

note: in order to use xmmembestats 2.0b, you've to uninstall older version (if you're using older version = 1.1 or 2.0a)... because i've rename the folder location

in line 54 & 96:

replace with:

the memberlist screen is great. it's a simple module i'm aftering so far (to show my web member list). thanks smdcom.

however, in my site, the left blocks and right blocks are not shown (when displaying the memberlist).

has anybody else experienced the same issue?

note: no php error occurs..

futhermore: how can i show the link to the rank.php? what's this for?

the rank.php as submenu is not currently shown as a default (is it only in mine?). should i add it manually too? (if so, please assist how can i do that, thanks!)

@wolvy: i already use multilanguage function... so many people doesn't have problem with that, they can register/login. use english version.

its troublesome just to go to your site and register and download the module..

and i had to expose my email address in the website. then i only registered once just to get the module and never login the site again cuz i don't understand the language.

Nevermind, its okay if you don't want to open it up for non members. Taking advantage to raise members and raise hits for your site. I understand.. its your production anyway.

I get a Blank Page when I Activeate the block. It works on my other Hosting service but when I activate it on my site it gives blank page. Very Nice I was using 1.1 before and ent back to it for the time being Untill I can resolve this mystery.

As far as I can read the code, it is trying to find the country of each user by reading a 50,000 lines long file and finding the country in there (I assume it is a file of IP ranges and their corresponding countries)

One of the problems, I foresee is that the file is read once per user - and not just once per block load - and that this is exhausting the memory limit on your hosted site.

Some refactoring should solve this.

You can perhaps start with just moving the reading of the file out of the loop so it is only read once.

Thanks for this script which i find really great. I have nevertheless a few questions to ask:

Isn't the ip-file going to slow down the loading of the pages?
Is there a way to make the avatar appear under the name? In fact i know it's possible but i don't know what file to edit!

To finish, i'll say something to those who want to download without registering: if you really want this script, well it's not a big deal just to register to get the file. If you're not happy with that, just keep on using the simple "who's online" script of xoops...

Yes, with flat-file I (all really) got big slowdown, but latest version (2.0c, 2.1 in Admin pane) uses mysql table and a lot faster

I haven't ready to use solution, just some thinking
1. Avatar have big H and V size, it will increase block size, espesially on popular hosts
2. You can see, for example, see at Istats code (counter block show avatar of user) or AMS, which show author's avatar in article view (but according to alt and common sense topic image awaited in article)

I do have the 2.1 version, does that mean that my ip-file in my mysql table? In that case there shouldn't be any problem, am i right? Anyway, thanks for your reply...

No , in common case. After installing module you had also to run once install-script, which move data from file to table

My module install of 2.1 (2.0c as its called) didnt liek the ENGINE=MyISAM; part, removed it from the sql file and all went well.

Does this module allow a user to enter status details (possibly as they log in) so that can be easily viewed.

It is important for logged in staff to see which branch/department users are working at or which client they are visting etc.

The who's online module shows where users are virtually on the site, I also want to show where the users are physically in the world.

Can XOOPS do this? Any modules exist for this?
