Translator's Fields

In current modules should be added 4 additional strings for translator's info, which should come in About page. Currently who knows who is the man/girl responsible for the Slovak translation for example ?

Fields:
DEFINE_TRANSLATOR_NAME=First and Last Name
DEFINE_TRANSLATOR_EMAIL=Translator/Translation Team Email
DEFINE_TRANSLATOR_LANGUAGE=Translated Language
DEFINE_TRANSLATOR_SITE=Translator/Translation Team Web Site

I think, it will be easier if once all the translations are done using Transifex, we point to Transifex and the translation teams there.

Otherwise, there would be too much work trying to keep the names updated. For example, what happens if somebody changes translations, or adds translations to newly added elements? Who will be listed as the "translator"? Who will make those decisions? And what in case of disagreements?

I am all for giving credit to people for their work, but I also like to keep things simple.

Re: Translator's Fields

Things are simple, no matter the translators changes, there always will be active Team Coordinator. Disagreements ?

Team coordinators per language are for this cases, to solve problems within they're units.

If those fields are per language/about.php - only Team Coordinators have to keep them up to date.

For example, let's take one module about page:
Waiting Ext. 0.96 BETA_Mamba
The module is created by Ryuji (http://ryus.co.jp/) (Misleading information) - it's created by him in past. This module is no longer maintained by him and can't be downloaded from this Japanese site. Now this line should look like
The module is originally created by Ryuji (http://ryus.co.jp/), currently is maintained by XOOPS Community (www.xoops.org)

Changelog ends with 0.94what about 0.95 and 0.96 ?

And that's all. No words about selected language translation. No words about support url/forum thread here. No words about extended information page.

Also there should be set some strict rules about all those translations.
All ISO translations should be dropped with the release of 2.5.5. Since UTF-8 is supported by default, what a confusion will be if the installation is done in UTF-8, core language files are in Japanese ISO, and modules are in Japanese UTF-8.
