Mailusers function is not active?

Upgraded site to 2.5.p

When .../modules/system/admin.php?fct=mailusers

I now get an error... "This section is not active!"

How do I reactivate this section?

Can we assume that you've done the "checksum" check on the system files when you upgraded? Might be a missing/corrupt file.

Also, have you "updated" the system/core modules in Admin since the upgrade? If not then it might help if you do.

i was also thinking about something in that area. the /upgrade folder has scripts that change the config in the database that enables the new config setting.

Yes. I passed the checksum.

Note: On the checksum, is there an easy way to have it checksum the two folders that are meant to be moved out of the root?

Or is it best to leave them where they are, do the check sum, and then move them after the upload is complete. (course this doesn't really work for an upgrade, cause the folders are already moved.)

Ah, now that is a good thought.

I think you are right that the system module was not updated.

I can't get to that directly, but if I update one of the other modules, copy that line and replace the module with 'system'...

As in:
.../modules/system/admin.php?fct=modulesadmin&op=update&module=system

Yes, that worked. Now the system module is updated.

Lets see if that solves the problem.

Does this mean that you're all sorted out and happy, and that your have access to everything you should have?

If so then "yay"
