After updating from x 2.4 --> 2.5 I keep getting a warning that my mainfile.php is writeable by the server.

When I change the permission to 444, it is automacally set back to 644 ! How can I change the permission?

You might talk to your host about it.

Hmmm, I already changed it. I used the FileManager in my hosts CPanel. Permission is set to 444 now.
Weird though, that I couldn't set it to 444 using Dreamweaver and WS_FTP_Pro.
No idea why ....

Maybe you are using a different user for cPanel and FTP or the server treats them differently.
