I'm new at using Xoops and php but really like what I've installed so far and figured out how to use. I've searched the forum and apologize if I missed it.

This may be a really stupid question but I cannot figure out how to post information on the mainpage. When you bring it up there is a large blankspot at the top. there use to be a slide with 3 pics, now I've removed that but cannot figure out how to remove the large blank area. Then I cannot figure out how to post on the main page.

I know I'm missing something real simple but I'm in need of help.

Reg. how to post on the main page - just make your News2 as the starting point. To do so - go to Admin-Preferences-General Settings, and select News2 in "Module for your start page"

Regarding the pictures, you'll have to look at your theme, and probably there you'll need to remove the part of HTML related to it.
