The theme I chose unfortunately does not show banner ads.

So, I was thinking, if I use a dummy module can I insert the link for the Xoops generated banner ads into it?

And also, could I do the same for Google Adsense?

If I can, could someone tell me the link for the Xoops generated banner ads so I can create the block?

TIA!!!

That's impossible!

Google Adsense is just a javascript code.

So clean cache or turn template check on.

BTW. When you install the code, you must wait for 10 or more minutes Google to show them up.

I really do not know how's that possible, and what the hell the theme has to do with it?!

In theme, or Smarty template

<{$xoops_banner}>

That's all you need as far as I know.

You might give it a try editing your theme.html of your chosen theme :)

Assuming I'm using default theme, If I would like to put my Adsense code into the content or below the title of my post, I will be editing theme_blockcenter_c.html and place it after this code

<{if $block.title}>
<legend class="blockTitle"><{$block.title}></legend>
<{/if}>
.

This is just a suggestion and I think it's not recommended here because there might be a module/block available for easy customization.

bjuti ... It's NOT impossible. The theme I have, sd_072_light, Does not have a link for banner ads in the header.

Thanks Peekay, but it doesn't work :(
